Director of Finance

  • Significant executive leadership opportunity | International NGO
  • Oversee, manage and lead all aspects of the finance function for the Adara Group
  • Report to the boards of Adara’s international development organisation and its corporate advisory business
The role

Your focus will be to:

  • Lead financial reporting across all entities
  • Lead the management of global financial systems (including payroll and internal controls), policies and protocols
  • Lead the finance function to ensure excellence in financial governance
  • Provide leadership, guidance and capacity building across the finance teams
  • Manage the taxation affairs of the Adara Group

As a key member of the Global Leadership Team, you will play a crucial role in managing the strategic direction, performance and impact of Adara.

about you

You’re an experienced accounting professional with 10 years+ experience as a CA or CPA.

With proven ability to translate strategy into action, you’re skilled at engaging others in your vision and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across a range of geographic regions.

Additionally, you have:

  • Strong financial acumen and proven experience overseeing the finance function at an organisation
  • Excellent people management and leadership skills
  • Passion for improving the lives of people in impoverished and marginalised communities
