the Role

As a key member of Adara’s Global Leadership Team, you will shape the organisation’s impact and knowledge-sharing strategy, ensuring excellence across all programmes.

You will lead the strategic direction and execution of Adara’s Research, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (RMEL), Knowledge Sharing, and Clinical Support functions—driving evidence-based decision-making, continuous improvement, and programmatic excellence across our Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (MNCH) and Remote Community Development (RCD) portfolios.

With a commitment to strengthening localisation, your focus will be to:

  • Lead strategic direction across RMEL, clinical support, and knowledge sharing
  • Provide strategic and programmatic support to clinical, M&E and knowledge sharing teams
  • Use data and learning to drive meaningful change for mothers, newborns, and communities
  • Amplify Adara’s voice globally through powerful knowledge sharing
Skills required

You’re a visionary and influential leader with experience in programme management, and in research, measurement and evaluation methodologies formed within public health, international development, or a related field, ideally with a focus on MNCH or RCD programmes.

With proven ability to translate strategy into action, you’re skilled at engaging others in your vision and working collaboratively to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders across a range of geographic regions. Additionally, you have:

  • A track record of successfully managing large-scale development programmes and initiatives
  • Expertise in designing, conducting, and analysing research
  • Experience in capturing, curating, and sharing knowledge in accessible and impactful ways
  • Willingness, fitness and ability to travel internationally approximately twice per year
