Reports to: Director of Partnerships

About the Role

This role will help build meaningful relationships with donors and partners who support our work with vulnerable communities. In this role, you will support the management of existing donor relationships, deliver engaging communications, and help plan and implement fundraising campaigns. You’ll work closely with the Senior Partnerships Manager and collaborate with the Communications and Programmes teams to ensure donors are inspired and connected to Adara’s mission. You will also assist in identifying new funding opportunities, writing proposals, and organising donor events.

About you

You have a relevant tertiary qualification and more than four years’ experience managing and cultivating major donor partnerships. You are skilled at building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, and have a solid understanding of fundraising, philanthropy, and the corporate sector. Experience in the international development or non-profit sector is highly regarded. You are an excellent communicator, adaptable, able to prioritise and meet deadlines, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Experience with CRM systems such as Dynamics or Raisely is desirable. Most importantly, you are committed to social justice and international development, and share Adara’s values and passion for making a difference.
