Margaret is Adara’s Social Worker, overseeing smooth operations of the Adara Youth Community Centre and working with staff and volunteers to empower youth living in Kiwoko.
Margaret holds a Degree in Human Resource Management, a Diploma in Secondary Education and a Certificate in HIV/AIDS Counselling. She has significant experience working with adolescents, people living with HIV/AIDS and at-risk populations in five districts: Luwero, Nakaseke, Nakasongola, Kampala and Wakiso.
She served as a Secondary Teacher/Senior Woman at Luwero High School, Timuna Senior Secondary School and Kakooge Senior Secondary School from 1999-2001. She then worked with the Kiwoko Hospital Youth Friendly Centre as an Adolescent Youth Worker from 2002-2005, before heading up the Kiwoko Hospital HIV/AIDS Department. Margaret then served as a School Health Officer in the Fields of Life Organisation. Most recently, Margaret was a focal person for a range of HIV services at J.O.Y Medical Centre.
