Hilda is Adara’s Newborn Health Manager
She manages the implementation of all newborn health aspects of the AdaraNewborn programme, including acting as a liaison between the Ministry of Health and AdaraNewborn facilities, supporting the development of newborn training materials, leading newborn health training teams, and delivering training and ongoing mentorship in AdaraNewborn facilities.
Hilda holds a Bachelor of Nursing. She has nine years of clinical NICU nursing experience and has cared for thousands of babies. Prior to joining Adara, she worked with Kiwoko Hospital in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). In the Kiwoko NICU she held various responsibilities like coordinating continuing medical education and mentoring and training new ward staff and visitors from other health units. Hilda was also an assistant ward manager in the Kiwoko NICU from 2017-2018.
