Kanjok is Adara’s Education Manager.
Kanjok started working for Adara in 2011, supporting education projects in Humla. He works with Humli communities to improve school and education programmes, in both the formal and informal education sectors.
Kanjok has a Master of Sociology and Anthropology. Before Adara, Kanjok worked as an education supervisor and office assistant for the Himalayan Conservation Development Association. He also worked on research projects for two years, focussing on health and education.
When not at work, Kanjok likes to write articles about culture, development challenges and current issues relevant to the upper Humla region. He has also published a book on Bhot Lama Language and culture.
