
Toya is a Training Specialist (Science) at Adara Development Nepal. In this capacity, he focuses on enhancing the quality of Science and Mathematics education and strengthening teacher capacity across Adara’s partner schools.
Toya is an accomplished education professional with extensive experience in project management, policy formulation, and capacity building. His career includes roles as a Senior Trainer for teacher training programs at REED Nepal, supported by the Australian Himalayan Foundation; a Program Specialist for the LEARN; and a Project Manager for World Vision’s KITAB project, funded by the World Bank. Leveraging his expertise in education systems, he has also formulated education policies and plans for eight local governments and developed specific policies for Children with Disabilities (CWDs) for three local governments.
His core strengths lie in project management, policy development, and building capacity in remedial teaching, school improvement planning, education leadership, and child protection.
