Uddhav Raj Poudyal is a Director of Adara Development (Nepal).
Uddhav started his career with the Ministry of Forest, Nepal for the Department of Plant Resources. He began as an Assistant Scientific Officer. He later worked with two other companies as Chief Processing Officer and Executive Director respectively.
Uddhav then worked with Save the Children (UK) in various designations, including Pharmacy Coordinator, Planning Coordinator and Programme Manager, directly working with the community in coordination with the government and other agencies.
After his work with Save the Children UK, Uddhav worked with the International Labour Organization in various roles, including Project Coordinator (SSA), National Project Manager NO-B, Senior Programme Manager NO-B and Chief Technical Advisor (National) NO-C, in close coordination with government and other agencies addressing child labour.
Uddhav has a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy and has more than 28 years of working experience with development sector in Nepal and beyond.
