About the Role
We are seeking a part-time Finance Officer to support the day-to-day financial operations of the Adara Group. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role plays a key role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and supporting month-end and reporting activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing supplier invoices, payments, and staff expenses
- Managing reconciliations, including supplier and general ledger accounts
- Supporting month-end processes and preparation of financial reports
- Assisting with budgeting, audits, and compliance requirements (e.g. BAS)
- Working collaboratively with the Finance team and stakeholders across the organisation
About you
You are a detail-oriented and proactive finance professional with experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting support role. You are confident working with financial systems and enjoy managing competing priorities while maintaining accuracy.
You will bring:
- Experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, or finance administration
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Experience with reconciliations, payments, and month-end processes
- Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting systems (e.g. Business Central or similar)
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative, team-focused approach
- A genuine interest in working for an organisation driven by social impact
